The Intro of an Adventure to the impact of Artificial Intelligence in our health.
Hello everyone! Welcome to my preview of the blog journey. I am from Mexico and a sophomore in the Costa Rica International Academy. I have very different passions and interests. Currently, I’m a fan of classic film and I wish to write my own stories for a theater or as a novel. Also, I normally pick up a basketball and go shooting in the evenings. Other times I would read some classics or play the guitar for a couple of hours.
My AI journey began fairly recently as an opportunity to expand my knowledge of technology. I feel like AI will impact the future in many different aspects, so I dedicated my time to learn little by little because it could benefit my career.
I still have not finished my scholar experience, though I have gone through most of it. My first instructor was Bachir, he taught us about the basics of programming and the learning models of AI. Next, I had Helena Vasconcelos as my project instructor. We are now working on Medical Imaging for Pneumonia, and so far it has been an exciting and interesting experience.
But with everything aside, I welcome you to this journey of AI. I will be writing about the advancements in Cancer drug research. I will be explaining what aspect of it stand out and how it will impact this disease in the near future.
So, you may ask, why Cancer research? Well, I believe that it has been the most influential disease of all time. We have faced it 3000 years ago and people keep dying for it. As AI affects many fields in which it improves efficiency and effectiveness, maybe it could bring a new perspective as to finding cures and vaccines which humans still cannot develop. I encourage any newcomer to Artificial Intelligence to join me in this adventure of blogs. It is most likely that the advances of research are not enough yet, nevertheless, I will try my best to give anyone a slight chance of hope that AI will impact the diseases that have affected us for so long.
